SEO is not a joke like drinking water or eating popcorn. Do your best but do not stress yourself too much if you are starting an SEO business. You need to understand SEO first before anything else and then start up with it. It will be hard at the beginning but after some time, SEO will become easier for you to handle. For me, it's doing link exchange first before anything else and then start with article submission later on. Article submission will be the second step because this will put your site into good search engine rankings so when people try to find info about certain keywords or phrases related to a specific niche, chances are that your article might be somewhere near or at least show up on the top 50 list which could bring in some prospective customers. SEO will always be on the search engine results pages when people look for something. SEO is just a matter of having SEO knowledge and putting things to good use.

It's also okay if you don't have enough budget to spend because SEO services are not only limited to SEO services only, SEO also includes SEO training which can be done online either through SEO video tutorial or SEO e-book. SEO is a matter of knowledge and application.

There are many SEO services out there that you can find to help you do your SEO work easily and fast but it's better if you will not depend on these services as they might affect your SEO strategies in different ways, some good while others bad. If you ask me about link exchange then I would say yes because this will give backlinks for your site which could generate more traffic to your site by which means more potential customers for doing business with in the future. If you have a website then try out doing link exchange first before anything else so it won't affect SEO strategies on your site negatively.
